Hybrid cloud is a cloud computing environment which uses a mix of on-premises, private cloud and public cloud services with orchestration between the two platforms. By allowing workloads to move between private and public clouds as computing needs and costs change, hybrid clouds give businesses greater flexibility and more data deployment options.
Let me explain with an example.
You have a computer where you store sensitive or private data. You use Gmail or Yahoo Mail for storing your email messages. The combination of using your own infrastructure and infrastructure (provided as a service) is called Hybrid.
In Infrastructure Sense, When you run your application on your own datacenter or servers and also run some application on public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, Google Compute, IBM Softlayer, then, it is called Hybrid Cloud.
